Honor MagicPad 4 Teased: 12.3″ 165Hz Display, 10,000mAh Battery & Flagship Chipset

Honor has also started to tease its next flagship tablet, the MagicPad 4, before the expected release sometime in April 1, 2026. Honor positions the MagicPad 4 to compete with higher-end Android tablets by offering a powerful chipset, a high-resolution display, and a large battery capacity in an ultra-slim body.

Overview

Design and Build-Up

Honor has seemed to have emphasized the provision of a high-quality feel with a very thin profile of less than 5 mm thick, such that the MagicPad 4 is relatively slim in comparison to the hardware it contains. Initial visuals and teasers show a minimalistic design with slim edges and a flat back, likely made from premium materials typically used in flagship tablets. There have not been verified official weight and materials but the general trend is to a smooth and contemporary look appropriate to a premium slate.

Display

The MagicPad 4 will have a 12.3-inch screen with 165 Hz refresh rate which would provide smoother animation, quicker reaction to gaming, and general fluidity in the user interactions. A panel such as this also increases the scrolling, video displaying and on-screen movement clarity. The high refresh rate alone puts it at the top of many competitors in the tablet segment, although it has not yet been confirmed whether the specifics of the resolution are high enough.

Processor

The MagicPad 4 is likely to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which is one of the most powerful mobile chipsets in the year 2026. This chipset has already found application in most flagship Android products and can run intensive tasks like multi-tasking, top-end gaming, and heavy resource-driven productivity apps with ease. The presence of this SoC puts the MagicPad 4 at the flagship level of performance.

Battery

Honor has teased that the MagicPad 4 will include a battery capacity of at least 10,000 mAh. Although the tablet is thin, it seems that Honor is fitting a huge battery that will translate to a few hours of screen-on time using the tablet to browse the web, stream videos, and to work on heavy loads without the need to charge the tablet frequently. The company has not yet officially released the exact endurance figures and charging speeds.

Camera

Honor is yet to divulge specifications of the camera in MagicPad 4. Most MagicPad models used in the past had a basic rear and selfie camera configuration to support casual photography and video calls as well as scanning documents. This should work similarly, as the company is expected to include at least one rear camera and a video-conferencing lens on the front, although it has yet to confirm these details.

Price and Availability Globally

The MagicPad 4 is yet to be priced officially. The China price would be uncovered nearer to the April launch. The Nepal price will be determined on the basis of normal customs duties and premium tablet prices in the country.
