Design and Display
The HONOR Magic V5 has a slim, lightweight, foldable design in different colors. It features a large 7.95-inch foldable inner screen with a resolution of 2352×2172 pixels and a 6.43-inch outer screen with 2376×1060 pixels. Both displays offer bright, vibrant colors and include eye-comfort features. The screens are protected by strong glass and support smooth gesture controls.
Performance, Connectivity, and Durability
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with an octa-core setup and the powerful Adreno 830 GPU, the Magic V5 offers smooth and fast performance. It comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, running MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15.
The phone supports 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G networks with flexible SIM options, including dual SIM or eSIM configurations. It is Wi-Fi 7 ready and includes Bluetooth 6.0 with support for LDAC, aptX, and LE Audio. Charging and audio use a USB Type-C port, and the device offers multiple GPS systems for accurate location tracking.
The Magic V5 is water and dust-resistant, carrying IP58 and IP59 ratings, ensuring protection against splashes, water, and dust under normal usage.
Camera and Battery
The HONOR Magic V5 has a versatile camera setup with three rear lenses: 50 MP Ultra Wide, 50 MP Wide with OIS, and 64 MP Telephoto with OIS, offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. It records 4K video and includes features like Night mode, AI photography, and Pro mode. The front cameras are 20 MP on both screens, also supporting 4K video and face unlock.
The device is powered by a 5820 mAh battery with support for 66W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 50W wireless SuperCharge. Reverse charging is also supported to power other devices on the go.
HONOR Magic V5 Price and Availability
The HONOR Magic V5 is now available in China, with prices starting at around ¥8999. HONOR officially launched the phone on August 28th. In Nepal, the device is not yet officially available, but we will update the Nepal price as soon as it arrives. Stay tuned for updates!
