OPPO Reno14 F (5G) Launched in Nepal

The newest midrange smartphone by the brand is the OPPO Reno14 F (5G) which is an elegant, powerful, and effective phone. It will target offering flagship-like characteristics at a cheaper cost which makes it an attractive option to ordinary users who are more concerned with design and functionality.

OPPO Reno14 F (5G) Overview

Design and Build

The Reno14 F has a glossy gradient rear, which just changes color depending on the light conditions. It is high end without being excessive. The phone is slender with a weight of approximately 180g which is very light considering that this phone has 6000mAh battery. Personally, I am a big fan of the design because it does not add too much symmetry to the phone but makes it sleek and comfortable at the same time, but the implementation of the AGC Dragontrail glass will make you need to cover your phone with a good case anyway.

Design and Build

Display

The phone features a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has an option of a higher 240Hz touch sampling rate, which gives the display a higher level of responsiveness. I was pleased with the level of brightness (up to 1400 nits) and ability to be used outdoors and colors are bright and natural. The whole experience with the screen is fluid and immersive in general, ideal when it comes to consuming media and playing.

Processor and Performance

The Reno14 F can easily cope with multitasking and moderate gaming due to the chipset of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Apps have fast loading, the animations are smooth, and performance is maintained. In my opinion, it is perfect because users have a more stable environment and do not favor intense gaming capability. “Although users might prefer LPDDR5 and UFS 4.0, the existing combination already delivers a stable experience for most users.

Processor

Battery

A battery with a capacity of 6000mAh can easily be considered as one of the best features of this phone. It can easily sustain itself over twenty four hours even with extensive usage of social media and streaming. The power (45W) fast charge is able to recharge it relatively fast, and this is convenient in day-to-day life. I also love the way OPPO was successful in embedding a big battery into the phone without making it too bulky because it is a no-fuss phone of long-day battery.

Camera

The Reno14 F has a triple rear as the main camera is 50MP with OIS, the 8MP ultra-wide lens with the 2MP macro sensor. The images are clear and well resisted during daylight, and OIS prevents the use in dark environments. The front camera with 32MP generates clear natural selfies. The AI image processing performs very well, but the absence of a telephoto lens limits the zoom quality. Nonetheless, in terms of casual photography and vlogging, this configuration is effective indeed.
