Infinix Hot 60i Launched in Nepal

Infinix has been launching some really good budget phones lately, and they’re back again with the new Infinix Hot 60i. This phone is the direct upgrade to last year’s Hot 50i and enters the already crowded budget smartphone market. It brings some solid features for the price. Now the question is, will the Hot 60i manage to grab attention in this crowded market, or quietly blend in with the rest?

Infinix Hot 60i Overview

Display and Design

The Infinix Hot 60i features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smoother user experience for scrolling, gaming, and everyday tasks. With a peak brightness of 700 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, the display is both bright and durable, even in outdoor conditions.

In terms of design, the phone features a modern look with flat edges and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also offers IP64 dust and splash resistance, making it more reliable for everyday use.

Performance and Software

The Infinix Hot 60i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, built on a 12nm process. Infinix has used the “Ultimate” tag before, but this time there’s a small performance tweak; the efficiency cores are slightly faster than those in the regular G81. While it’s not a major upgrade, it does bring a bit more power to the table. For graphics, the phone uses the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, which should handle everyday tasks and light gaming with ease. You get two memory options to choose from: 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, both paired with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. If you need extra space, there’s also support for microSD expansion.

Camera Capabilities

For photography, the Infinix Hot 60i is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a:

  • 50MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture
  • Secondary AI sensor
  • Dual LED flash

The front houses an 8MP selfie camera capable of recording 1080p videos. The rear camera supports video recording up to 1440p at 30fps, making it a capable budget option for both photos and video content.

Battery and Charging

The phone is backed by a 5160mAh battery, which easily lasts through a full day of usage. One of the standout features is its 45W fast charging support, which can charge the device up to 50% in just 24 minutes. Additionally, it supports reverse charging at 10W.

Other Notable Features

The Infinix Hot 60i features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio support. It includes a USB Type-C port for efficient charging and data transfer, NFC (data only) for convenient sharing, and an IR Blaster to control compatible home appliances. Additionally, it supports dual SIM with 4G connectivity, making it a versatile option for everyday use.

Final Thoughts

The Infinix Hot 60i is quite similar to last year’s Hot 50i in most areas. But one important upgrade makes a big difference. It now supports 45W fast charging. In a budget phone, this is a big deal because fast charging is still rare in this price range. By adding this feature, Infinix has made the Hot 60i a strong competitor to the Realme C63, which also offers 45W charging. It is a simple but smart change that gives the Hot 60i a clear edge.
